Introduction of Thai Chamber of Commerce University

Thai Chamber of Commerce University is the earliest private university established among higher education institutions in Thailand. It is famous for its commercial and economic strength in Southeast Asia, and the important national economic and commercial research center is also located in universities. Its predecessor was the business school located in the chamber of commerce compound in downtown Bangkok, which was founded by the Thai Chamber of Commerce on 1940. Due to the outbreak of World War II, the school stopped running in the second year after its establishment. The school resumed classes on 1963 and moved to its current location on 1974. At that time, the schools of business administration, accounting and economics were mainly responsible for the teaching of business courses. Later, humanities college, science and technology college, engineering college, communication art college and law school were established one after another.
