Rhinoceros is one of the strongest land animals. Rhinoceros appeared about 60 million years ago, and now there are five species in the world: black rhinoceros, white rhinoceros, Indian rhinoceros, Sumatra rhinoceros and Java rhinoceros. These five rhinos belong to the appendix of the Washington Convention: a class of protected animals.
