Hong Kong trademark registration application conditions

1. The applicant is a natural person or corporate legal person

1. A natural person registration application requires a copy of the personal identity card or passport< /p>

2. To apply for corporate legal person registration, you need to provide a copy of the corporate legal person ID card and business license

2. Fill out the "Request to Search Records and Give Preliminary Opinions on Whether the Trademark Can Be Registered" and submit it To the Intellectual Property Department, Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

3. The Intellectual Property Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will search the trademark registration register and inform you that there is no identical or similar trademark before formally applying for registration.

4. The fee for applying to register a trademark in one category of goods or services is HKD 2,000; the application fee for each additional category of goods or services is HKD 1,000.
