1965, fruit trees for sale in demonstration sites. This year, "Hua Niu" apple entered the Hong Kong market for the first time. At the Hong Kong International Expo, it won the championship in one fell swoop because its four indexes, such as chromaticity, fruit shape, meat quality and sugar content, were superior to those of the American "snake fruit" and enjoyed a worldwide reputation. The whole village was very excited when the news came. On September 23 of that year, the fruit farmers in Huaniu Village carefully selected two boxes of apples that had just been picked and gave them to Chairman Mao (and wrote the word "Huaniu" on the wooden box containing apples) to express their admiration for Chairman Mao. Chairman tasted it and liked it very much. When he met Deng Baoshan, a famous Tianshui native who was then the governor of Gansu Province, he entertained him with Tianshui apples and praised him: "The apples in Tianshui, your hometown are really delicious!" . Since then, the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC sent a special letter to thank the villagers in Huaniu Village on behalf of Chairman Mao.
Since then, China officially took "Hua Niu" as the trademark of Apple, and exported it abroad in large quantities.
