What is the review process of Malaysian trademarks?
1. Formal review: the legal review of the submitted application documents, trademark patterns, power of attorney and other documents after the application is submitted; If it meets the requirements, the application date and application number will be awarded.

2. substantive examination: according to the law, examine whether the trademark is registrable, whether it is the same as or similar to the previously registered trademark, and whether it violates the prohibition clause of the trademark law. For trademarks that fail to pass the substantive examination, the examiner will notify the applicant in writing and inform him of the reasons for rejection. The applicant can submit a review within the time limit from the date of receiving the notice of rejection, otherwise, the application will be regarded as abandoned, and the application date and application number will not be retained. The applicant can apply for an extension on the condition of paying the extension fee. The Trademark Examiner may conditionally accept certain applications for trademark registration, and may require the applicant to give up the right to use a certain character or figure in the trademark.

3. Announcement: After the trademark has passed the examination, the applicant will be informed that the trademark application has been accepted and published in the trademark announcement. Anyone can raise an objection within the two-month announcement period (the time limit for raising an objection can be extended by two months), and state the reasons and submit relevant evidence.
