3. If the renewal of the certificate and the change of the name of the registrant are processed at the same time, the "Application for Renewal of Trademark Registration Certificate" and the "Application for Change of Name of Trademark Registrant" should be submitted respectively. The application for renewal can be made in the form of change. It can be filed in the name of the former trademark registrant or in the name of the changed trademark registrant.

If filed in the name of the trademark registrant before the change, the name of the registrant on the issued trademark registration certificate is the name of the trademark registrant before the change (this certificate must be used together with the change certificate); If the application is filed in the name of the later trademark registrant, the name of the registrant of the trademark registration certificate issued shall be the name of the changed trademark registrant.

4. If the reissue of the trademark registration certificate is processed at the same time as the transfer, the "Application for Reissue of Trademark Registration Certificate" and the "Application for Transfer of Registered Trademark Application" should be submitted separately. The application for a certificate can be made in the name of the transferor or the transferee.

If a supplementary certificate is filed in the name of the transferor, the name on the registration certificate issued shall be the name of the trademark registrant before the transfer (this certificate must be used with the transfer certificate); if the supplement is filed in the name of the transferee , the name of the registrant on the issued registration certificate is the name of the transferee.

Examination of the application for reissue of the "Trademark Registration Certificate"

After the Trademark Office receives the application for the reissue of the Trademark Registration Certificate, it will review it based on the following circumstances:

1. Check whether the trademark category and trademark registration number match the information in the Trademark Office database.

2. Check whether the name of the applicant for the reissued trademark registration certificate matches the information in the Trademark Office database. If not, check whether there is a change in the name of the registrant or transfer, etc.
