1. Hermès only uses English and French on its silk scarf washing labels. The wash label should always only have the following words: FABRIQUE EN FRANCE 100% SOIE, MADE IN FRANCE 100% SILK, DRY CLEAN ONLY. The second-hand scarf may only have the words: 100% SOIE.
2. The wash mark should always be on the corner of the scarf, not on the front or in the middle of the edge. The three corners of the wash mark of recent styles will be sewn on the edge of the scarf. The wash mark of medieval styles can only be sewn on two corners. If the wash mark is sewn on the middle or front of the scarf or not on the corners, it can be judged as fake.
