(1) The trademark registration application and other relevant documents should be typed or printed. To apply for trademark registration, Chinese shall be used, and if the documents and certificates submitted are in foreign languages, Chinese translations shall be attached; If it is not attached, it will be regarded as not submitted, which may affect the application for registration of the trademark.
(2)—General Chinese or graphic trademarks, without special explanation, can be described according to the actual situation of the trademark. If the trademark is in a foreign language or contains a foreign language, the meaning shall be stated in the trademark description. To apply for a registered trademark with a three-dimensional mark, a special statement shall be made in the application, and a pattern capable of determining the three-dimensional shape shall be submitted. Where an application for a registered trademark is made by color combination, a special statement shall be made in the application and a written explanation shall be submitted. To apply for the registration of a collective trademark or a certification trademark, a special statement shall be made in the application, and the qualification certificate of the subject and the management rules for the use shall be submitted.
(3) The name and address of the applicant for trademark registration should be filled in according to the qualification documents of the subject. If they are inconsistent, the applicant should go through the industrial and commercial change before applying for registration.
(4) where two or more people apply for the registration of the same trademark, a representative shall be designated in the application; If there is no designated representative, the first person in the order in the application shall be the representative.
(5) The commodity or service item in the application for trademark registration shall be filled with the standard name according to the Classification Table of Goods and Services or the Classification Table of Similar Goods and Services. Some commodity titles that people have established in their daily lives are not allowed to be used when applying for trademark registration. For example, although washing machines, televisions, computers, refrigerators, etc. are considered as household appliances in daily life, they actually belong to different categories according to the Classification of Goods and Services. If the commodity name or service item is not included in the classification table of commodities and services, a description of the commodity or service shall be attached.

If a trademark applied for registration by an applicant needs to be used on painting pens and painting pigments, before the implementation of the revised Trademark Law, two applications should be filled out, and two basic fees should be paid, because these two commodities belong to two categories respectively, painting pens belong to the 16th category and painting pigments belong to the 2nd category.
