What is the procedure of substantive examination of British trademarks?
If the above review is passed, the British Intellectual Property Office will ask the examiner to further review the trademark two months after submitting the application for trademark registration to decide whether the trademark can be registered. If it fails, the examiner will notify the applicant in the form of a letter, inform the applicant of the reasons for the failure and ask the applicant to make amendments.
