It is reported that Citroen has sued Polar Star, an electric car brand headquartered in Sweden, on the grounds that it is suspected of using a boomerang trademark similar to its own.

Citroen is an old French automobile manufacturer, founded by Andre Citroen in 19 19. Its double LOGO is well known, and its design is inspired by the double shape of the zigzag gear. Citroen automobile company also has a high-end brand "DS", which also adopts the style of boomerang.

Polaris brand is an electric vehicle brand jointly founded by Volvo Car Group and Geely Holding Group. Its headquarters is in Gothenburg, Sweden, and its production bases are in Chengdu, China and Taizhou. In July this year, Polaris brand electric vehicles began to enter the European market and planned to be sold in the French market.

Judging from the LOGO of Polaris brand, it is composed of two boomerangs. Citroen opposes the use of herringbone-like graphic design by Polaris brand, believing that the other party has violated its trademark rights in France.
