Landrover is an old British car company, and Rover is a Nordic nation. Rover is used as the brand name when producing bicycles.

Cars were produced in 1904, still using "Rover" as the license plate name. On March 26, 2008, India's Tata Group invested US$2.3 billion to acquire Ford's Jaguar and Land Rover brands.
