In 1923, Chu Fucheng, a well-known patriot, social activist and one of the founders of Jiusan Society, a native of Jiaxing, raised 360,000 yuan to found Hefeng Paper Company.

The company was officially put into production in 1925. The main products at that time were yellow board paper, with a daily output of 12 tons.

In 1929, Chu Fucheng reached a contract with Zhu Meixian and sold Hefeng Paper Manufacturing Company to Zhu Meixian for management. As a result, Minfeng Paper Co., Ltd., represented by Zhu Meixian, was established.

In 1930, the production of yellow board paper was resumed, and the product trademark was "Chunpai" and was approved by the National Government at that time.

From 1930 to 1934, the company's products and scale increased and expanded. Zhu Mei first learned about the bleak business situation of the Chinese Tobacco Company due to imperialist oppression during the business process. Driven by patriotism and compassion, she decided to produce cigarette paper to resist economic aggression.

In November 1934, the company's board of directors approved the decision to develop

a new product called cigarette paper. By 1936, the required equipment was installed, and in June of the same year, the first domestically produced cigarette paper was successfully produced in Minfeng. This is a historic breakthrough for the old Chinese paper industry from low-level technology to high-level technology.

After 1949, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, China's cigarette industry developed rapidly, and Minfeng's cigarette paper had a broad market. In the 1950s, Minfeng actively carried out trial production of new products.

Between 1955 and 1956, major breakthroughs were made in the trial production of new products. my country's first domestic tracing paper and capacitor paper were successfully pioneered in Minfeng.

In the 1980s, Minfeng Ship brand capacitor paper won the National Gold Medal twice. Tracing paper won a National Silver Award. Minfeng provided supporting papers for the successful launch of the carrier rocket into the Pacific Ocean, the successful launch of the experimental communication satellite, and the successful test of the Shenzhou 5 manned spacecraft.

Over the past few decades, the three leading domestic products pioneered by Minfeng have made great progress and improvement in terms of technology and quality assurance, and as a result, the products have maintained the first place in the country in terms of domestic market share. .

Minfeng Ship brand products have been awarded product quality inspection exemption certificates issued by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
