The format of the production date in the United States is different from that in China, while most countries and regions such as Australia, Europe, America, South Korea and Japan use the EU Cosmetic Safety Management Regulations for the safety management of cosmetics, that is, cosmetics with a shelf life of more than 30 months need to be marked with the symbol of the shelf life or the effective time period after opening.

In the management of cosmetics and daily necessities in these countries, it is not necessary to mark the production date and the effective/shelf life date, but only the shelf life or the effective time period symbol after opening, and one or both of them can be marked at the same time, such as the time period symbol with a shelf life of 6 months and the time period symbol after opening 12 months.
