Bahe Guild Hall, formerly known as Qionghua Guild Hall, was founded in Foshan. 1854 was razed to the ground by the Qing government. 1889, Cantonese opera artists bought land in Huangsha and built a building that could accommodate thousands of people. Little-known Huangsha, with its own Bahe Club, has become increasingly prosperous, becoming a downtown area in Xiguan and a scenic spot in old Guangzhou. 1937, Japanese warplanes bombed Guangzhou, and Bahetang was bombed. The year after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War (1946), Bahe Guild Hall was rebuilt on Enning Road. Although the area of Bahe Guild Hall, which is built between residential buildings in the old city, is small, it has great cohesion and attraction for Cantonese opera artists. Posters about the performance, stills of Guangdong and Hong Kong famous Cantonese operas in past dynasties, familiar faces, including famous Cantonese operas such as Chen Xinghan, Kwan Tak-hing, Jing Shaojia, Bai Xuexian, Liang Xingbo and Deng Biyun, as well as Hong Kong film and television celebrities such as Wang Mingquan, Luo Jiaying, Li Xiangqin and Adam Cheng.

Bahe Club has two meanings. First, there are eight halls in Bahe Hall, namely, Shenhe Hall, Yonghe Hall, Xinhe Hall, Zhaohe Hall, Dehe Hall, Fuhe Hall, Qinghe Hall and Puhe Hall. Second, the word "eight" is a person in the right line, and the word "eight" and "person" are separated. Those who are "harmonious" live in harmony and create a new world of Cantonese opera. Both meanings emphasize the word "harmony", which is the essence of drama sages.

With the continuous development of Cantonese Opera, the Bahe Guild Hall has also set up many branches, and the existing branches are all over the world 18 countries or regions. Guangdong Bahe Guild Hall is regarded as the "mother club" by Cantonese opera people at home and abroad.
