Shede liquor is also a kind of Luzhou-flavor liquor with a special process. Shede Liquor, formerly known as Tuopai Qujiu, is a different kind of Luzhou-flavor liquor in Sichuan school.

Sichuan-style Luzhou-flavor liquor mostly adopts pure wheat, or single-grain original cellar technology (LU ZHOU LAO JIAO CO.,LTD, Quanxing Daqu), or multi-grain cellar technology (Wuliangye, Jiannanchun). Tuopai Qujiu is different from these two schools. It uses a mixture of barley and wheat to make koji, with sorghum and glutinous rice as raw materials.

Sichuan wine cellar with single grain original cellar technology is rich in fragrance (LU ZHOU LAO JIAO CO.,LTD), Sichuan wine with multi-grain cellar technology is full and harmonious (Wuliangye and Jiannanchun), and Tuopai Qujiu is more prominent in mellow, sweet, clean and refreshing, which makes Tuopai Qujiu win a place among famous wines in China.
