Great achievements have been made in the study of literature and history. Since its establishment, Tianjin Literature and History has been published for 46 issues, which has opened up a garden for librarians to publish works and articles and played an important role in the excavation, collation and research of Tianjin local history and folk customs. Digging deep into the academic achievements of rescuing librarians, editing and publishing Librarians' Writings Series and publishing six monographs, including Wu Yuru's Poems and Songs, systematically preserved the academic achievements of Tianjin's regional culture. In addition, more than 200 academic, calligraphy and painting monographs, such as Selected Works of Wang Xiang and Painting in Tianjin, have been edited and published, contributing to the cultural construction in Tianjin.

Great achievements have been made in artistic creation. Although the librarian is nearly seventy years old, he is happy in his prime. He devoted himself to creating and caring for mountains and rivers, actively participated in the theme painting and calligraphy creation activities that reflected the main theme of the times and took major historical events and historical figures as themes, and completed the creation of a number of fine paintings and calligraphy works such as Ode to the Westward Journey, Prosperous Age and Let Go for Ten Thousand Years, and donated them to the country for free, thus contributing to the promotion of national traditional culture.

The United front and friendship have achieved remarkable results. Actively contacted the relevant departments of the city and Hong Kong and Macao, and held "Tianjin 20th Century China Art Exhibition" and "Tianjin Folk Art Exhibition" in Hong Kong and Macao, which received strong response and rave reviews. While publicizing the new changes in Tianjin, librarians have also taken advantage of their extensive and influential overseas contacts with family members, relatives and friends to build a platform for promoting friendly exchanges between Tianjin, Hong Kong and Macao, and have done a lot of work for promoting the great cause of peaceful reunification of the motherland.

Actively participate in social welfare undertakings. Librarians actively participate in activities such as helping the poor and the disabled, teaching and supporting the army, going to the countryside with culture, art counseling, condolences to medical staff and police officers, and actively contribute to social welfare undertakings. Librarians such as Wang Xiang, the late curator, and Zhang Shucheng, a famous collector, either collected Oracle Bone Inscriptions treasures all their lives, or donated the Song Dynasty's Snow Scene and Cold Forest Map, Western Zhou bronzes and other national treasures to the country. In the face of severe disasters such as SARS and Wenchuan earthquake, librarians have shown the spirit of great love to help the poor in the same boat, and created and donated a large number of fine paintings and calligraphy.
