There are three operating models of supermarket chains:
1. Direct-operated chain. All stores of the chain enterprise are operated uniformly under the direct leadership of the headquarters. The headquarters implements human and financial management of each store. , unified management of material and business flow, logistics, information flow, etc. Such as: Wal-Mart.
2. Franchise chain, a form of contract-based combination between the headquarters and franchise stores. For example, the supermarket "Carrefour" has been relatively successful in using the franchise model internationally.
3. Free chain, through signing a chain operation contract, the headquarters cooperates with stores with independent legal person qualifications, and under the guidance of the headquarters, the business model is centralized procurement and unified distribution.
Pricing strategy of chain supermarkets
1. Price
If you are a chain store, do not make everything the same as the head office, because the head office and each branch face different prices. The right consumer groups are all different. The main store has a high consumption level, so the prices of some goods are slightly higher. However, if the branch store is located in a place with a lower consumption level, it cannot be the same as the main store.
2. Product structure
Don’t think that what products sell quickly in the main store will also sell quickly, and then think that this product or that branch will also sell quickly. What products are sold in each branch should be determined. The decision should be made based on the actual situation of each branch store and the needs of customers. You cannot blindly follow the main store.
