Change a computer and test it to see if it is a computer problem.
Check plug
Check whether the pins of the earphone are inserted incorrectly (the two pins on the earphone have phase symbols, one is the microphone and the other is the speaker. Usually the green plug is an earphone plug and the red plug is a microphone plug.
Check the microphone mute switch.
Check whether there is a microphone mute switch on the wire (it is silent when the microphone is muted).
Check the tape recorder
Click Start-Programs-Accessories-Entertainment-Recorder in turn when the two pins of the earphone are in the correct position, then click the red circular recording button of the recorder, speak into the microphone, click the black rectangular stop button, and then click the triangular play button to see if there is recording and waveform.
modulate the sound
Double-click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of the computer desktop, and then click Options Properties. Under Show the following volume controls, click the checkmark to select Microphone Volume and confirm. Double-click the speaker icon in the lower right corner again, remove the mute hoOK of the microphone, turn the sound to the maximum, turn it off, and ok.
Check the volume switch.
Check whether the volume switch of the earphone is turned on. When the sound is turned to the minimum, you can't hear the sound.
