Yidu mandarin orange has a seedless, tall and oblate fruit. The weight of a single fruit is about 125.0 grams. The size is relatively uniform, the skin is thin, the edible rate is high, and the center column is substantial. It begins to color in late September and matures in early October. When it is just colored, the peel is orange and shiny, and when it is fully ripe, the peel is orange.
