EU appearance patent application process

1. Prepare application documents → 2. Submit application to EU Intellectual Property Office? → 3. Accept (European Intellectual Property Office issues acceptance notice) → 4. Review (the European Union Intellectual Property Office conducts a formal review of the format and other aspects of the patent) → 5. Authorization (if the application meets legal requirements, the European Union Intellectual Property Office issues an EU appearance certificate and announces the authorization).
