Nissan brand change
The first car produced by Nissan Motor Company was called Tuotu. The trademark "DAT" was adopted at that time. Later, a small car was produced, named Datson. Because the pronunciation of "SON" in English is the same as that of "loss" in Japanese, it was renamed "DATSUN". The word "Sun" symbolizes a young child, which is more suitable for models. "Dart" is the pronunciation of the Japanese word "Tuotu", which means a rabbit that runs very fast, in order to compare the car to run fast.
After decades of development, Nissan has become the second largest automobile company in Japan, and its annual automobile output ranks fourth in the world, making the "expanding the soil" of that year a "swift horse". The advertising slogan "There are swift horses in ancient times, but there are Nissan cars today" not only shows the high quality of Nissan, but also shows their self-confidence and self-improvement spirit.
