Three meanings of trademark revocation
Article 49 of the Trademark Law stipulates that if a registered trademark is not used for three consecutive years without justifiable reasons, any unit or individual may apply to the Trademark Office for cancellation of the registered trademark.
How to apply for trademark cancellation?
1, go directly to the Trademark Office or entrust a trademark agency to handle it;
2. Prepare relevant materials and apply for cancellation of the application to stop using the registered trademark for three consecutive years. You need to prepare a cancellation application for stopping using the registered trademark for three consecutive years (indicating the reasons for cancellation), a copy of the applicant's business license (showing the original business license at the same time), and a trademark power of attorney.
3. After the trademark receives the application for revocation, the Trademark Office will mail the decision on whether to revoke the registered trademark to the trademark agency. The following is the overall flow chart of trademark revocation application:
