BAIC D70 ignition coil location

The ignition coil is installed on the engine cylinder head through screws.

The core components of the ignition device are the ignition coil and the switch device. By increasing the energy of the ignition coil, the spark plug can generate sparks with sufficient energy. This is the basic condition for the ignition device to adapt to the operation of modern engines.

Usually there are two sets of coils in the ignition coil, the primary coil and the secondary coil. The primary coil uses thicker enameled wire, usually about 0.5-1 mm enameled wire wound around 200-500 turns. The secondary coil uses thin enameled wire, usually about 0.1 mm enameled wire, with about 15,000-25,000 turns.
