The first Mitsubishi enterprise was Iwasaki Yataro, who took over the Nagasaki Shipyard operated by the Japanese government on 1870, and the shipyard was renamed Mitsubishi Chamber of Commerce on 1873. Then Mitsubishi began to set foot in mining, shipbuilding, banking, insurance, warehousing and trade, and then set foot in paper, steel, glass, electrical equipment, aircraft, oil and real estate. Now Mitsubishi has established a series of enterprises, which play an important role in the process of Japanese industrial modernization.
brand introduction
Mitsubishi is not a single company, but a group of many independent companies. Most of them use the name "Mitsubishi", but don't simply call themselves "Mitsubishi".
There are 28 core members of Mitsubishi Offshore Club (also known as Friday Club, literally translated as Friday Club), about 500 member companies of Mitsubishi, about 400 companies with the word "Mitsubishi" in their names, and hundreds of Mitsubishi companies do not have "Mitsubishi" in their names. The business activities of these companies are independent and even compete with each other in many fields.
