The electrode is a water level probe. Because the probe is in contact with water for a long time, the surface will be oxidized and the sensitivity will be reduced. As long as the electrode surface is cleaned, the fault light will be fine! Our user manual also recommends cleaning the electrode surface (water level probe) every 3 months.
