CASE was established in 1842. Jerome Increase CASE established an agricultural threshing machine factory in Racine, Wisconsin, USA. The production efficiency of this threshing machine was 10 times that of the manual machines at that time.
In 1865, the bald eagle, now a well-known symbol in the field of agricultural and construction machinery, began to become Case's trademark.
In 1869, Case manufactured the first mobile steam engine, marking the birth of the highway construction machinery industry. This machine is currently on display at the Smithsonian Exhibition Hall in Washington, DC, USA.
In 1912, Case launched a complete line of highway construction products, including graders and steam rollers.
