The foreign trademark registration fee is 2,300 yuan. According to relevant laws and regulations, foreigners or foreign enterprises that apply for trademark registration and handle other trademark matters in China must entrust a trademark agency established in accordance with the law to handle the matter. The specific registration fee standards shall be formulated in accordance with the provisions of the Finance Department of the State Council and the Price Competent Department of the State Council. Confirm payment standards. 1. International trademark registration According to the principle of territoriality, a trademark registered in one country does not automatically receive protection in other countries. Therefore, if foreigners want to obtain protection for their trademarks in my country, they must apply for registration in my country. Similarly, if Chinese citizens, legal persons or other organizations want to obtain protection for their trademarks in other countries, they must also apply for registration in foreign countries (common law countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom can obtain a certain degree of protection due to use in that country, but other less effective than the protection of a registered trademark). Chinese nationals can apply for trademark registration in foreign countries in two ways: one is to apply for registration one by one in the countries where they wish to obtain protection; the other is to apply for Madrid international registration and designate the country where they wish to obtain registration (but it must be the Madrid Agreement or Protocol member states). 2. Application conditions for international trademark registration Applicants have two ways to apply for registered trademarks abroad. One is to register country by country, that is, apply to the trademark authorities of each country for registration; the other is Madrid international trademark registration. Most people choose Madrid for international trademark registration. The conditions for their application are also different. Application conditions: The trademark applying for international registration must be based on the trademark already registered by the China Trademark Office. The trademark applying for international registration must be a trademark that has been registered in China or has been preliminary reviewed and announced. The content of the trademark applied for international registration must be the same as that of the applicant. The content of the domestically registered trademark is completely consistent, and the designated goods must be the same as the domestically registered goods or not exceed the scope of the originally registered goods. Application procedures are handled uniformly by the National Trademark Office to the International Bureau. Application procedures for international trademark registration must be submitted by the applicant to the National Trademark Office, and the National Trademark Office uniformly handles registration with the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. The International Bureau does not accept self-applications from individual enterprises.
