Natural ecological environment and human and historical factors
(1) Soil landform: Linshui County belongs to the hilly area of eastern Sichuan, and Huaying Mountain, Tongluo Mountain and Mingyue Mountain are distributed in parallel, forming a special landform with three mountains and two troughs. China has 406 14 hectares of cultivated land, including 23,633 hectares of cultivated land and 0/6981hectare of soil. The soil is mainly composed of Jurassic Shaximiao Formation, Ziliujing Formation and a few Xujiahe Formation and Suining Formation, which are divided into purple soil, yellow loam soil, paddy soil and alluvial soil. (4) Human history: Linshui County has a long history of citrus cultivation. According to county records, in the fifth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1405), the emperor came to Linshui County (this area) to look for the old official Du Jingxian. He tasted the local specialty "wrinkled orange". Because of its unique shape and refreshing and delicious taste, it was written that "abandoning spring and loving autumn alone". During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, Lee Joon, the governor of Guangdong Navy (a native of Ganzi Town near the water), brought back grapefruit seedlings from the south and planted them in his hometown, which developed rapidly and became a famous local specialty, hence the name Ganzi Town (Ganzi Fort). So far, a large number of wild citrus trees have been preserved in Longxu Village and Wang Yue Village of Ganba Township. In order to improve the citrus variety structure in Linshui County, navel orange was introduced in the 1970s and began to take shape in the early 1980s. At present, the navel orange planting area has exceeded 6.5438+0.5 million mu, accounting for more than 80% of the citrus planting area in Linshui County. Because of its unique geographical advantages, it has formed the unique quality of Linshui navel orange: beautiful fruit shape, thin skin, rich pulp residue, rich nutrition and unique flavor. Newhall, Ting Anne, Nevilina, Bai Liu, Oshima and other navel oranges selected by 1995 participated in the second China Agricultural Expo and won the "three gold and two silver" prizes. Linshui navel orange was certified as a famous brand product by China International Agricultural Expo in 1999 and 200 1, 2004 and 2000 respectively.
