CSPC Pharmaceutical Group attaches great importance to the leading role of technology in enterprise development. At present, this product has obtained a new drug certificate and trial production approval, filling the gap of national first-class new drugs in Hebei Province. At the same time, CSPC's products are sold across the country and more than 50 countries and regions around the world, with 16 single varieties having annual sales exceeding 100 million yuan. In 2003, CSPC's export earnings exceeded US$100 million for the first time, reaching 1.2 billion, from January to September this year. The group’s export earnings exceeded US$78 million.

CSPC Pharmaceutical Group has formulated a "dual-vertical strategy" for the group's development during the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" period: that is, the technology vertical is at the top and the market is vertical at the end.
