At the end of the Qing Dynasty, a workshop named "Sanyuanzhai Sauce Garden Store" officially produced commercial chili sauce. However, due to various reasons, it declared closure in 1914. As an employee of "Sanyuanzhai", Wang Honglu raised funds to open the "Defuzhai Sauce Garden Store" in 1914, and opened a workshop-style production factory in Fu'an Lane, Rongjiang, Nankang, employing three old people from the original "Sanyuanzhai" The master recruited 8 apprentices, purchased large vats and mills, built a drying field, and carried out primitive assembly line production. In February 1956, China implemented public-private partnership, and "Defuzhai Sauce Garden Store" responded to the national call and merged into Nankang Food Processing Factory. In 1962, the company was restructured into a state-owned enterprise and its name was changed to Nankang County Food Processing Factory. Since then, the production of chili sauce has entered a more formalized enterprise production. In 1984, led by the "Defuzhai Chili Sauce" brand, Nankang County formed a rich series of foods, including soy sauce, Ma Tong, Zhuangyuanhong and other series of foods, as well as candied fruits, multi-flavored peanuts, snowflake cakes, etc. In 1992, Nankang County Food Factory strengthened its trademark awareness and successfully registered the "Defuzhai brand" Dingguagua chili sauce. In 1995, "Defuzhai Chili Sauce" was designated as a "selected" product by the Great Hall of the People. Since then, the product has been in the "hall" and the brand reputation has been spread, becoming the pride of Ganzhou people. In 2004, the enterprise was restructured, and the Nankang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided to auction the assets and trademarks of the original "Nankang Food Co., Ltd." separately. In order to protect the time-honored trademark "Defuzhai", the Nankang Municipal Government stipulated that the trademark can only be purchased by Nankang people and local food companies in Nankang. It also stipulated that after purchasing this brand, it must be restored as soon as possible production, and extend and expand the brand to exert the brand effect. Jiangxi Youjia Food Co., Ltd. finally obtained the ownership of the trademark in accordance with the auction regulations and the relevant regulations of the Nankang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government.
