4. Generally, sealing oil is injected into the sealing mechanism of hot oil pumps, but not in cold oil pumps.

5. Hot oil pumps are mostly made of carbon steel and alloy steel, while cold oil pumps can use cast iron.

6. The hot oil pump’s support, bearing box, and packing box mechanical seal all need to be cooled with water, but the cold oil pump does not need to be used.

7. The hot oil pump needs to be preheated before starting, while the cold oil pump is the same, so the cold oil pump is not necessary.

8. Cold oil pumps are used when the operating temperature is below 200 degrees Celsius, and hot oil pumps are used when the operating temperature is above 200 degrees Celsius.
