Trademark Agent Qualification Examination Measures

Article 1: In order to further standardize the trademark agent qualification examination and strengthen the quality building of the trademark agent team, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Trademark Agency Management Measures". Article 2 The Trademark Agent Qualification Examination is a professional industry qualification examination held by the state and is uniformly organized by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the "Trademark Office"). Article 3 The Trademark Agent Qualification Examination follows the principles of openness, fairness, equality and merit selection and is open to the society. Anyone who meets the conditions specified in these Measures may sign up to participate. Article 4 Persons who meet the following conditions may register to take the trademark agent qualification examination: (1) At least 18 years old and have full capacity for civil conduct;

(2) Have a college degree or above in law, a bachelor's degree or above in other majors, or equivalent qualifications. Article 5 To register for the trademark agent qualification examination, you must register at the provincial industrial and commercial administration bureau where the candidate is located within the specified time.

When registering, candidates should submit copies of their resident ID cards, academic or degree certificates, and four recent one-inch bareheaded photos. Those who are employed should submit a copy of their work permit. Registration fee shall be paid, and the fee standard shall be determined by the provincial industrial and commercial administration bureau in conjunction with the price management department at the same level. Article 6: Provincial industrial and commercial administration bureaus shall review all documents submitted by candidates when registering, compile a list of those who meet the reference requirements and submit it to the Trademark Office, which will uniformly produce admission tickets. Article 7 The Trademark Office will set up a number of examination areas across the country based on the registration status. Each examination area has an examination administration office, which is responsible for all examination work in that examination area.

The person in charge of the examination office shall be the director in charge of trademark affairs of the provincial industrial and commercial administration bureau where each examination area is located. Article 8 The Trademark Agent Qualification Examination shall be conducted by the Trademark Office with unified propositions and examination papers, and the principle of confidentiality shall be strictly observed. Article 9 Candidates must take the examination with their admission ticket and resident ID card. Article 10 The number of candidates in each examination room shall not exceed 30, and the number of invigilators shall not be less than 3. Article 11 The Trademark Agent Qualification Examination shall be uniformly marked and admitted by the Trademark Office. The examination results will be notified to the candidates by the provincial industrial and commercial administration bureau where the candidates are located.

If candidates need to check scores or other circumstances, they should submit a written application directly to the Trademark Office within 15 days after receiving the notification of test results. The Trademark Office will notify the candidates of the query results within 1 month after receiving the application. . Article 12 If a candidate passes the Trademark Agent Qualification Examination, he or she must go to the Trademark Office or the provincial administration for industry and commerce where it is located to receive the Trademark Agent Qualification Certificate within the specified time with his or her ID card and original academic or degree certificate. , and pay relevant fees. Article 13 If a candidate has any of the following circumstances, his or her examination results will be invalid and he will not be allowed to take the trademark agent qualification examination within five years:

(1) He or she has committed fraud and obtained registration qualifications by deceptive means;

(2) Taking the exam on someone else’s behalf;

(3) Violating the discipline of the exam room;

(4) Having other illegal or irregular behaviors. Article 14 If any examination staff commit illegal or disciplinary violations, they will be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws and regulations. Article 15: These Measures shall come into effect on March 1, 2000.
