Copyright transfer requires registration. When transferring a registered trademark, the transferor and the transferee shall sign a transfer agreement and submit applications to the Trademark Office at the same time. After the transfer of a registered trademark is approved, it will be announced, and the transferee will enjoy the exclusive right to use the trademark from the date of announcement.

The software copyright application process is as follows:

1. Fill in the application form. Enter the copyright registration system member login on the homepage of the China Copyright Protection Center website. After logging in, fill in the application form online as required, confirm, and submit for printing;

2. Submit the application documents. The applicant submits registration application documents to the Copyright Office as required;

3. Pay the application fee. When submitting application documents, the applicant shall pay the registration fee to the China Copyright Protection Center;

4. Accept the application. If the application documents meet the acceptance requirements and the application fee is paid, the China Copyright Protection Center will accept the application within the specified period and issue an acceptance notice and payment receipt to the applicant;

5. Correction procedures. If the application documents are defective, the applicant shall make corrections within the prescribed time limit. If no corrections are made within the time limit, the application will be deemed to have been withdrawn. If the application documents still do not comply with the registration regulations after corrections, the registration agency will deny registration and notify the applicant in writing;

6. Obtain the registration certificate. The computer software copyright registration certificate shall be issued within 20 working days from the date of acceptance by the China Copyright Protection Center. The applicant shall present the original acceptance notice to the copyright protection center to receive the certificate.

When applying for software copyright registration, the following materials should be submitted to the China Copyright Protection Center:

(2) Software identification materials;

(3) Relevant supporting documents.
