In this definition, Yu Huo thinks it is concise. In other words, the so-called waist-bending body, first, should be "stuck from it"; Second, although the meter loses its adhesion from it, it is not cut off poetically. In short, the waist-bending style is only a change in the metrical pattern of flat and even tones, which has nothing to do with the poetic meaning of the whole poem.

Yan Yu's Cang Lang Shi Hua Shi Ti says, "Those who have quatrains bend their backs, those who have eight sentences bend their backs." The "Eight Sentences" here refers to metrical poems (including seven laws and five laws, excluding long laws).

There are only four quatrains, and the so-called "losing adhesion" means that the flat lines of the second sentence and the third sentence were originally intended to stick together, but they were deliberately lost adhesion.
