Land Rover was founded in the UK. In 2000, Land Rover was sold to Ford. In 2008, Ford sold Jaguar Land Rover to the Indian Tata Group for 2.3 billion yuan.

In 2004, Land Rover entered China as an agent, with Land Rover China as the general dealer. In 2012, Jaguar Land Rover cooperated with Chery Group to establish Chery Jaguar Land Rover Co., Ltd., realizing the localization of Land Rover.
