Trademark examination: after receiving the application, the EU Intellectual Property Office will examine the application. If there is any problem, the applicant needs to make corrections and amendments within 2 months. If the application is not amended within the specified time, it will be regarded as giving up, and the EU Intellectual Property Office will take back part of the application. If the applicant disagrees with the review, he can appeal to the Appeal Committee within the EU Intellectual Property Office. If he disagrees with the Appeal Committee, he can appeal to the EU General Court and the EU Judicial Court.
Trademark announcement: A trademark that has passed the examination of the EU Intellectual Property Office will be published in the EU Trademark Bulletin. Anyone who has objections to the trademark can raise objections to the trademark within three months after the publication of the trademark. The EU Intellectual Property Office will make a judgment on the objection. If there is any doubt about the judgment of the EU Intellectual Property Office, it can appeal to the Appeal Board, the EU General Court and the EU Judicial Court. If no objection or opinion is raised within the specified time, or the objection is not established, the trademark will be registered, published in the EU Trademark Gazette, and an electronic registration certificate will be sent.
