Near the Changsheng Hotel Station on Hubin North Road, there are three foreign trade clothing stores within 100 meters, and their low prices are their selling points.

One of them sells brands such as Adidas, Nike, Reebok and Giordano. The store told reporters that these clothes are all imported from Guangdong and they are all export products. They just returned the goods because of some defects and turned them into domestic sales, but the overall quality was fine. It is reported that Adidas stores sell for 400-500 yuan's sports suits, and you can buy them here as long as you are in 80 yuan. In Jojo's export clothing Changqing store, the price of a set of Nike sportswear exceeds 170 yuan, which is even cheaper than domestic brands such as Li Ning and Anta.

"Because foreign trade clothing wins by quantity, the export price will be low." Lin Zili, general manager of Xiamen Fidas Clothing Co., Ltd. said that specialized companies often buy unqualified or surplus export products from them, and the price is only about half of the export price.

So is the "foreign trade clothing store" selling genuine products?

When the reporter interviewed on Hubin North Road, he carefully checked the labels of foreign trade clothing stores. It is observed that almost all the labels on its so-called foreign trade clothing are Chinese labels, and even if there are English, Japanese or other languages, a few Chinese characters can be seen. According to reports, clothes exported by foreign trade should be labeled in English, and very few will have Chinese labels.

The person in charge of the Foreign Trade Department of Xiamen Trade Development Bureau said that the management of clothing brands and fabrics processed by foreign businessmen in China is very strict, and the number of trademarks in a batch of orders is not much different from the number of garments processed. He said that the more famous the brand trademark, the stricter the restrictions on the number of genuine products. Generally speaking, there are not many fabrics left in clothes made of materials, usually only a few or a dozen pieces.

Lin Zili also believes that even if there are more finished products than orders, customers will buy these products together on the premise of ensuring the quality. Therefore, most of the products that are sold domestically are unqualified products.

So where do so many foreign trade clothes come from? According to insiders, many trademarks of foreign trade garments in the market are privately printed by shopkeepers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong. Some of them hold pictures or samples of foreign famous brand clothing for domestic clothing manufacturers to copy in batches. Some are made by domestic garment enterprises after finishing external processing.

Such clothes can't be guaranteed in quality and hygiene, and can't be compared with genuine products.
