Jingzhou is located in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. Jingzhou is a famous historical and cultural city in China, an important port in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and a central city in Jianghan Plain. It was one of the first batch of 24 famous historical and cultural cities in China announced by the State Council in 1982, and the ancient city wall of Jingzhou was announced by the State Council in 1996 as a national key cultural relic protection unit.
