In recent years, Liubaili Company has always based its development on the basis of scientific and technological progress. The company has done the following work in terms of technology platform construction and tea technology innovation and application.
First, the company’s technical team has been established. In 2006, the company began to hire technical consultants. In 2008, the company established a technical team, with Comrade Li Jiesheng, Taiping Houkui expert and national agricultural high judge, as the chief technical consultant. The members include Zheng Zhongming, a senior tea judge, and Zheng Zhongming, who once worked in the district science and technology committee. Wu Yuanjun and Li Jianhua, who worked in the District Science and Technology Association. With the approval of the District Civil Affairs Bureau, the company established the "Huangshan District Taiping Houkui Tea Industry R&D Center" in August 2008. The center is located in the "Liubaili Houkui Industrial Base" in the industrial park and has now been built into Shida University. Tea strain garden and breeding base, and 5 acres of land have been reserved and leveled to build an expert building and a laboratory testing center building.
The second is to integrate with colleges and universities and scientific research units. ⑴. In February this year, the company signed the "Framework Agreement on Integration of Industry, University and Research" with the College of Tea and Food Science and Technology of Anhui Agricultural University. The two parties established a long-term, strategic industry-university-research integration relationship. The college awarded the "Liubaili Houkui Industrial Base" the "Industry-Academic-Research Base of the College of Tea and Food Science and Technology of Anhui Agricultural University" and established the "Student Teaching Practice Point of the College of Tea and Food Science and Technology of Anhui Agricultural University" at the base. The college also Served as the company's technology project consultant, providing decision-making consulting and information services to the company. In April this year, 30 Annong college students were accepted as interns at the base. ⑵. In October, the company exchanged visits with the Tea Science Institute of the Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences and reached an agreement to cooperate in tea tree breeding. ⑶. Recently, as the only representative of Taiping Houkui Tea Industry, the company accepted the invitation of Annong University to participate in the soon-to-be-established "Anhui Tea Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance" composed of 14 scientific research institutes and tea companies in the province.
The third is to strengthen technological innovation and the application of new technologies. ⑴. Taiping Houkui tea has always been packed in large quantities in plastic bags, which is large in size, has a poor image, and does not reflect the "flat and straight" product characteristics. In 2002, the company pioneered the packaging method of "seedlings with roots arranged in order, branches arranged in order", and classified and graded tea according to different fragrance types, shapes and tastes, and carried out standard packaging to meet the needs of different consumer groups, and designed a rich and distinctive logo. A series of packaging with cultural charm, this technology won the second prize of Huangshan City Science and Technology Achievement Award in 2003, and was quickly promoted, causing the price of Houkui tea to soar. ⑵. Food safety is the life of Houkui Tea. Each tea production area is produced and produced one by one, so it is difficult to ensure that the products are organic and clean. To this end, the company established a professional cooperative to start from the source and use financial subsidies to urge members and order households to safely prevent insects and use organic fertilizers such as rapeseed cake fertilizer and green grass pressing, and to control the content of their fresh leaves before opening the garden. Pesticide residues are tested door-to-door; in 2008, the company built a GMP100,000-level production and processing workshop in the "Liubaili Houkui Industrial Base" to ensure the organic and clean products. ⑶. Currently, labor for tea picking and tea making is becoming increasingly tight, and labor costs are getting higher and higher. Labor problems have become a bottleneck, hindering the industrialization of Houkui Tea and the standardization of product production. Starting in July 2008, the company began The research and development of the Houkui tea production line has a production capacity of 35 kilograms per unit. Although the production line still has imperfections in the finalization process, they are determined to continue to improve it under the guidance of experts until it succeeds. ⑷. Persimmon Dacha is the best strain for producing Houkui tea. However, the good and bad varieties in the group are mixed, with different shapes, aromas, and tenderness. Especially because the suitable harvesting period of Houkui tea is short, it is difficult to increase the yield per unit. In 2002, the company established an 8-acre persimmon tea mother ear garden and nursery in Xianyuan. Over the past few years, it has selected several excellent strains of Shidacha No. 1, No. 5, No. 6 and No. 23, and has been propagated through cuttings. Used in production at Houcun and Daping bases. The next step will be to adopt sexual hybridization and individual plant breeding to cultivate strains with better properties and longer suitable harvesting period.
