Yutang Sauce Garden was founded in the fifty-third year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (17 14). That's a pickles shop opened by Dai Yutang, a native of Gusu, Jining. 1783, Jining businessman Leng Changlian and official Sun Yuting bought Yutang, and named it Gusu Yutang, also known as Yutang Sauce Garden. Later, Leng withdrew from the share capital and was exclusively operated by the government. Because Yutang Sauce Garden pays attention to quality and tone, it is very popular, and its scale and variety are constantly expanding. The kimchi and wine produced have both North and South flavors and are very popular. Even the literary work at that time, Jing Hua Yuan, praised Jining Jinbo wine as the best wine in the world. 1886, Sun Yuwen, Minister of Military Affairs, sent Sun's side dishes to the palace. After tasting it, Empress Dowager Cixi repeatedly praised: Beijing is really famous, better than Jiangnan! He also ordered Yutang to send pickles as a tribute to the palace every year.
