First, the awareness of maintenance, crisis and long-term awareness is not strong. For example, there is a lack of clear understanding of the risks existing in the development of the dark tea industry, and the inability to pay attention to, study, and take effective measures to solve the problems existing in the development of the dark tea industry.
Second, the quality of local high-quality black tea in Anhua is seriously insufficient. The contradiction between the rapid development of Anhua's dark tea industry and the serious shortage of local high-quality black tea in Anhua has become increasingly prominent.
Currently, only about 50% of the raw materials used in Anhua dark tea come from Anhua and surrounding areas, and half of the raw materials come from outside the province. A large amount of black tea from other places has poured into the Anhua market, and the quality varies from good to bad. Even some scraps have been sold to Anhua, posing a serious risk to the quality and safety of Anhua dark tea products.
Third, there are hidden worries about chaos in shopping malls.
Anhua currently has more than 150 tea processing companies, more than 200 marketing companies, and more than 4,000 registered dark tea trademarks. The number of enterprises is large and complex. Most enterprises are small in scale, have the same products, and face severe competition among peers. There is a lack of unified standards for the purchase of black tea, production standards are not strictly implemented and are not in place, and product quality varies.
In pursuit of profits, some companies lower product quality standards and lower prices for promotions, which seriously disrupts the market order, damages the reputation of Anhua dark tea, and affects the long-term development of Anhua dark tea. Fourth, there are bottlenecks in market expansion. The sales of Anhua dark tea are still mainly in the domestic market. The foreign market is still in its infancy. Marketing efforts need to be further increased and marketing methods need to be more diversified.
Although the above are all problems that arise during the development process, if they are not paid high attention to and effective measures are taken to deal with them, they may endanger the healthy development of the Anhua dark tea industry.
