Registering a Thai trademark requires materials:
1. 20 trademark drawings (5x5 cm) (if the trademark drawing exceeds this specification, a fee of 200 baht per centimeter will be charged);
2. Introduction to goods/services (*select according to standard goods/services classification table);
3. Application form, including applicant’s name and address, trademark name, designated goods and services Category and specific name;
4. The required materials are as follows depending on the subject of the Thai trademark registration application:
1) The applicant is an individual:
a. Application Copy of personal ID card/passport;
b. Applicant’s name and address;
2) If the applicant is an enterprise:
a. Translated copy of enterprise business license , requires notarization and certification;
c. Copy of the client’s ID card/passport.
Procedures for registering a Thai trademark:
1. Detection-inspection-application-acceptance-review-announcement-approval;
2. Certificate issuance receipt time: The acceptance notice will be issued in 3-7 working days. Once you get the acceptance notice, you can start using the trademark and mark it with TM;
3. Registration time: 12-24 months to obtain the trademark certificate and get You can mark R when you get the certificate.
After the application is accepted, the Thai Trademark Office will conduct a formal examination and substantive examination of the application. After approval, it will be announced in the official gazette for a period of 90 days. If there is no objection or the objection is not established, the trademark will be registered.
