1. Small pen practice: introduce an item and write down the characteristics and functions of the item

Each student has his or her own pencil case. And today I will introduce to you my pencil case.

This is a plastic pencil case. It is rectangular, about 4cm high, 2 decimeters long, and about one decimeter wide. This pencil case is light blue all over, with cute Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Minnie painted on it in various poses.

This is a double-sided pencil case. The front side can be used to hold pens, and the back side can hold rulers, triangles, etc. Its front is divided into two parts. The larger part occupies four-fifths. It can be used to hold pens. The smaller part occupies one-fifth. It contains a built-in pencil sharpener and eraser. Just press the button. They will pop up automatically. It can also be used to write names on the back.

This pencil case is not as hard as a metal pencil case, but it is lighter and easier to use. This pencil case is not as light as a pencil case, but it has many more functions than an ordinary pencil case.

If you accidentally break your pencil, you don’t have to worry because the pencil sharpener on the pencil case can help you solve the problem immediately.

This kind of pencil case is very convenient to use. It is not easy to make noise like a metal pencil case, and if it gets stained, you don’t have to worry about it being difficult to wash. , just wipe it gently with a cloth and it will be as clean and bright as new. And if it is a pencil case, it is difficult to clean it no matter how you wash it.

How about my plastic pencil case? Isn’t it great? Would you like to buy one and try it out? I believe it will soon become your effective assistant and close friend.

A 400-word essay on my pencil case

It was my birthday, and my father gave me a pencil box. I love it. This pencil case is very unique. It has a telescopic stand on top and a colorful picture below: In a quiet forest, there are some small animals, a lush tree, and cute and lively birds jumping around on the tree. Spreading its wings and ready to fly, it seems that it is going to the market; the small fish are jumping happily in the river; the panda is sitting in the bamboo forest and eating bamboo leaves leisurely. A giant panda stands in the middle of the picture, stretching out two fingers. It seemed to be saying: "The weather is sunny today, so happy!" Everyone was wearing gorgeous clothes, as if they were going to a grand banquet.

My pencil case has a "special function". The telescopic rack outside the stationery box can hold some commonly used pens, and there is a transparent cover on it to prevent loss. There are many buttons on the pencil case. Press different buttons to pop out the pencil case, thermometer, timetable... Open the pencil case, and there is also a password setting! As long as the password is incorrect, the pencil case cannot be opened and an alarm will sound. Open the pencil case, boo! My "little friends" are asleep. They sleep in small beds of different sizes. They are very tired.

My pencil case sometimes reminds me to be a civilized student.

I remember one time, when our class was having a "rubber fight", I was a little interested and wanted to give it a try. I took out the pencil case, and suddenly I saw the panda on the pencil case stretching out its finger and shaking its head at me, as if to say: "Study hard and be a civilized student." I thought it made sense, so I put it back in the pencil case.

My pencil case is not only my "stationery keeper", but also my "mentor and helpful friend". How could I not like it? 2. A composition introducing an item

My pencil box

I have a beautiful and practical pencil box. It was a birthday gift given to me by my cousin on my 7th birthday. I like it very much!

This pencil case is made of plastic. The lid of the box is painted with green grass, red flowers, and an old tree. Under the tree, Princess Snow White and Princess Butterfly are looking at me with smiles, as if they are saying to me: "You are also a beautiful little princess. You must study hard!"

Open the pencil case and you can see that it is divided into two layers.

On its upper level, the mechanical pencil is resting after working. Next to the pencil are its good friends-a ruler and eraser, as if they are always ready to help the pencil complete its work better. On the lower level of the pencil case, the sixteen brothers with colorful pens are ready to go, as if to say: "Little master, we are always at your command!" Every member of this big family likes to work: when I want to do my homework, the pencil It will immediately jump into my hand to help me write; when I make a mistake, the eraser happily comes over to help me correct the mistake; when I want to draw a straight line, the ruler will come forward and show its talents; if I When I want to draw, the row of colored pens will rush to come to me, vying to show their beauty... They get along so well. Of course, this is all the result of the pencil box. If it weren't for the pencil box, how could they become good friends?

I like this pencil box because it is not only beautiful, but also practical and it helps me a lot in my study.

I have an ordinary pencil case.

This is my brother's pencil case. One day, I went to my brother's house and he said, "Sister, you are about to go to school. I will give you a pencil case. You must study hard." , I always used this pencil case when I was in first grade. Later, my mother bought me a new pencil case and didn’t let me use this pencil box anymore, so I had no choice but to use it. However, I still used it secretly.

It is made of leather and is blue with two brown straps inlaid in the blue. There is a trademark sewn on the lower part in the middle. There is a child's head inside with a pair of small eyes. , has a small mouth, black hair, and is shaped like half a watermelon. His name is Watermelon Taro. Every time I see him, he seems to be saying to me: Little master, you have to study hard, and I will be your loyal friend.

The stationery box has two layers, one is small and the other is large. When you unzip it, you can see a "small curtain". When you open it, oh, it's my little curtain. Assistant, they are all lying together, especially my pen. It has been working hard for me all day. I am so grateful for the pen! Let them have a good rest!

The pen is a tool in my study. Without it, I will not be able to study. It is the pencil case that helps me take care of them. Whenever I get good grades in the exam, I will look at it happily, because they also have a share of the credit.

In total, it has been with me for two springs, summers, autumns and winters.

I will take good care of it and take good care of it like a pen. I will be very grateful for it! 3. How to write an essay introducing an item

Step one: Determine the item to be written about.

We come into contact with too many things around us. Therefore, when you choose items, be sure not to be "dizzy". Instead, choose items that are common in your life and that you like to write about. This will help us grasp the characteristics of the items and introduce them clearly.

Step 2: Observe carefully and find the characteristics of the item. After you have determined the item you want to select, you must carefully observe it.

There must be an order when observing (it can be from the whole to the part; from top to bottom, etc.). When observing, pay special attention to the outstanding features of this item. This is the focus of our writing.

Step 3: Describe specifically and have an organized structure. When introducing an item, capture its characteristics and describe it.

For example, when introducing vegetables and fruits, you should focus on the shape, color, and taste, and you can also introduce the type, origin, yield, and nutritional value; when introducing toys, stationery, and electrical appliances, you should focus on the shape and characteristics. , structure, use and issues that should be paid attention to during use, etc. The introduction should be reasonably conceived and the narrative should be organized.

Generally, the introduction of items requires a narrative sequence: Beginning: Briefly summarize the origin and overall characteristics of the item. Middle: (1) Introduce the appearance of the object (2) Introduce the usage of the object (3) Introduce the function of the object. End: Summarize the object and borrow expressions (to express emotions towards the object). Step 4: Use the explanation methods you have learned.

Through the study of expository texts in this unit, we have mastered a variety of explanatory methods, such as listing numbers, making analogies, making comparisons, giving examples, etc. When we wrote this exercise. You can also apply these explanation methods appropriately to your own exercises.

This will help describe the introduced items more realistically and vividly. Step 5: After writing the article, revise it carefully.

After writing the article, read it carefully by yourself to see whether the article is introduced clearly, whether the wording is accurate, and whether the writing is standardized. You can also let others read it.

Check to see if there are still errors such as wrong words and incorrect sentences. In short, there is only constant revision.

The composition will become better and better. Example 1: For my microwave oven, I always want to have a machine that can put vegetables and rice in it. Press the button and it will automatically stop when the time is up. The vegetables and rice are fragrant and delicious, so there are so many OK! Unexpectedly, today my parents bought back a machine of my dreams.

When I first moved home, I felt like I was on stimulants. I was so happy and wanted to see what it was like. After my mother opened the box, I saw the magical microwave oven.

I looked carefully and found that it was rectangular and had a black shell. In front of the microwave is a door with transparent glass through which you can see what's going on inside.

There is also an exhaust port at the top to remove the hot air generated after heating. There are many buttons on the right side of the door: fire button, clock button, barbecue button, weight adjustment button, time button, start button and stop cancel button.

Each of these keys has different functions. There is a rotating glass tray inside the microwave oven for placing heated food.

If you want to heat rice or cook vegetables, put the rice or vegetables into a bowl specially designed for microwave ovens, then put it in the microwave oven, turn the time button to a certain time, and then press the start button to start. It's running. It will automatically turn off when the time comes, and the steaming meal is ready.

If you want to grill, put the things on the grill and put it in the microwave. Grilling is much slower than heating rice. It takes about ten minutes. You also need to turn the time button to twelve. Or thirteen, press the grill button again, and finally press start. After two or three minutes of baking, the aroma comes out of the exhaust vent, making people salivate.

Not to mention once the barbecue is done, it is truly a delicious dish! If you know the weight of the food, you can press the weight adjustment button and it can set the time by itself, which is more convenient. If you want it done faster, you can add more heat! This microwave works for our whole family and our whole family loves it.

Sample Essay 2: My pen holder On my desk, there is a carefully carved and unique bamboo pen holder, with a layer of orange "gauze" on its smooth body. , there is a beautiful landscape picture on this "gauze", which adds a beautiful scenery to this bamboo pen holder. Behind this beautiful scenery, there is a line of delicate calligraphy, which gave me the courage to overcome difficulties and strive towards my goals.

In this pen holder, there live many members of the pen family. Whenever I write homework, they compete for me to use it. This is both convenient and allows me to complete my homework better. In that beautiful picture, the green mountains in the distance are covered with emerald green gauze. Behind the mountains, there is a pavilion. On both sides of it, there are two towering trees with lush branches and leaves. The pavilion has bright red glazed tiles. , there are emerald green leaves on the lush branches, they set off each other, just like the beautiful patterns composed of red flowers and green grass on the mountain, which makes me intoxicated in the magic of nature.

Behind the painting, there is a line of delicate calligraphy that reads "Aspirations do not depend on age." It tells me that people with lofty ambitions do not depend on their age, as long as they have lofty goals and strive towards them. Strive for this goal and work tirelessly. Success will be waiting for you not far away. But on the road to success, there will be bumps. Wherever you fall, just get up from where you fell, and success will belong to you.

Whenever I encounter a problem and want to give up, it reminds me and cheers me up again.

This is my pen holder. It is not only beautiful, but also tells me the secret of success. Sample Essay 3: A pair of small porcelain geese Jia Min As soon as you enter my house, you can see a pair of small porcelain geese placed neatly on the velvet cushion on the clock cover.

These little porcelain geese are so cute. Look at the one on the left. The head and neck are about the same thickness, and it’s almost indistinguishable. The head is turned to the back, bent like an arch bridge.

Its mouth is flat, and its entire body is flat and wide. Starting from the bottom of the neck, it becomes fatter towards the back of the body, and the last pointed and protruding part is its tail.

My desk

My desk is full of messy things: in the upper left corner of the desk, there is a pile of objects stacked in the shape of a top. Books (first of all, let me state that this is "natural" and has not been processed in any way). The bottom layer of the top is a thick and narrow English dictionary, which is very difficult to read. The small words are yellow and aged, and it is a standard museum display. In the middle of the top are several textbooks from junior high school to high school. Judging from their condition, they are enough to bear witness to the author's yesterday and the day before yesterday. The top layer of the top is a notebook and a CD. From a geographical point of view, this is the sector with greater activity in the near future. Sometimes it overlaps and sometimes it is misaligned. Fortunately, the sectors are self-aware and know that they cannot compete with the desk. Collision, so even in the most critical moments, he can always maintain a posture of shaking but not falling, and being in danger but not falling, which is quite statesmanlike. Next to the top are two boxes of "ticking time bombs" that appeared out of nowhere - a box of Tongtai Xing Compound Huo Brain and a box of Jiahe Baifu Ning. They are always warning my body not to force them too early. blasting. On the right side of the "bomb" is a desk lamp with a yellow lampshade, a black lamp neck, a yellow lamp base, and a black knob. It is the standard color of a leader's hearse. It shines on me every night, allowing me to always remember those who returned to the West. The great man, and a little further to the right, there is an unknown device called. There is a crystal globe, clock, pen holder and business card holder on it. When I first got it back, the whole decoration had a dazzling metallic luster, which looked magnificent and eye-catching. However, after a while, except for the globe which still had a trace of crystal luster, the rest of it was golden. Everything dimmed. Whenever I see it, it always reminds me of the fate of those corrupt people who went from light to darkness, and I am very relieved. On the right side of the display is a pen holder, which contains a number of pens, pencils, and ballpoint pens that cannot write any color. I use it to throw it around when I have nothing to do. When I drop it, I never worry about whether the pen will break color or leak ink. A series of questions make me play with confidence and use it comfortably. On the far right side of the desk (which can be represented by a coordinate axis), there is a pile of books that can be looked at from a distance with the top. It's just that the shape is a "hill" instead of a top. There are three CDs on the top of the hill, which is obviously much more advantageous than the top. After introducing the main items of the desk, there are also some secondary items, such as transparent glue, waste paper, watches, teacups, pen refills, correction fluid, portraits, etc., etc., which also play a role in filling the desk and providing its Ling Luan has made great contributions. What is said is true, chaos is also a kind of beauty. May the beauty of the desk always be there and flourish 5. How to write an essay introducing an object

Ding bell, the alarm clock rang, I took my time. I got out of bed, turned off the alarm clock and got ready to get up.

Oh! Do you want to know what my alarm clock looks like? Then let me introduce it! Its whole body is pink, with two small ears on its head, connected by a steel bar in the middle, and an alarm clock striking needle in the middle of the small ears.

There are two princesses on the clock face, one is Cinderella - Sandy, and the other is the mermaid - Ariel.

The Immortal Emperor wears blue clothes and has golden hair. Ariel wears blue clothes and has red hair.

They were all smiling happily. There are numbers from 1 to 12 in a circle on the clock face. The numbers are not the numbers we usually see. Those numbers are very beautiful.

It has four hands, a black and very short hour hand, a slightly longer and black minute hand, and a very long, silver, constantly rotating hand. , what kind of needle is it? That’s right! It's the second hand. You might think that there are only three hands on a clock face, there can't be another one.

If you think so, you are totally wrong! Because there is also a hand that sets the time of the alarm clock. When the alarm pointer coincides with the hour hand, the alarm clock will sound.

There is a small light next to the clock face. You can't see it unless you look carefully. Because, you only need to press a small button on the back of the clock, and when you press it, a yellow light will appear next to the clock face.

There is a pair of yellow little feet at the bottom of the clock, which are similar to Mickey Mouse's. They seem to be able to move around at any time. I like my little alarm clock. With it, I am not late for school every day! A 500-word essay introducing an object (2) My own little invention. One Sunday, I finished the homework assigned by the teacher. I had nothing to do, so I picked up a book to read at home.

Suddenly, I saw the lid of the kettle beating constantly. I poured water into the thermos bottle, and suddenly an idea flashed in my mind. If the water boils and cannot be seen, wouldn’t the kettle burn? ? Our family once burned a kettle because the whole family was not at home at the time. I had to think of a way to prevent the kettle from burning. I had an idea. If I tied a bell to the kettle lid, tied a small rope to a nail, and then nailed the nail to the wall, once the water boiled, Didn’t the bell just ring? I did it first to see if I could succeed. I just did it. I did what I wanted in order. First, I tied the bell to the kettle lid, then nailed a nail to the wall, and then put a thin and long nail on the wall. A small rope was hung on it, and I put water into the kettle. After a few minutes, the bell rang and the wire was not broken. I jumped up and down happily and told my father about my little invention. Dad smiled and said: Yes, yes, he is really a good boy with a clever mind.

When I heard my father’s praise, my heart felt as sweet as drinking honey. Since then, my kettle has never been burned again.

From this incident, I understand a truth: achieving excellent results is not easy and requires hard work. No matter what you do, you can't give up halfway. As long as you have patience, you will definitely succeed.

A 500-word essay introducing an object (3) The magical chair. Speaking of the library, the biggest drawback is that you find a book you are interested in but have no place to sit down and read it. But did you know that in a Dutch library, you only need an RFID card to have the chair follow you and serve you at any time.

Beep...the automatic sensor door opened, and a guest walked in. What he was holding was the RFID card. He swiped the card on the chair's sensor and went to choose a book.

As soon as the owner left, the chair actually moved and followed the owner into the neat rows of bookshelves in the Dutch Library. You don't have to worry about it hitting something, it can turn left, right, forward, backward, stop, and avoid obstacles.

When the owner chooses a book, it will dedicate its soft body to let the owner read comfortably. The owner walked out of the Dutch Library with satisfaction, but the cat did not dare to walk out of the red warning line. It quickly returned to its original position and quietly waited for the next owner to come.

What’s more interesting is that if you want to hold a symposium or lecture in the library, you can rest assured that you can have several chairs at your command at the same time.

At this time, they are not only your loyal slaves, but also a team of well-trained soldiers. When they arrive at the designated place, they immediately line up, waiting for the speech to begin.

In a Dutch library, your most loyal friend and most obedient slave is the chair! I hope that in the future, the chairs in libraries in the Netherlands will also come to China! 500-word essay introducing an object (4) Stuffed Bunny Last Sunday, my parents and I went to the flower and bird market. There were many unnamed flowers and plants, as well as various birds, but I like the little rabbit there the most. I wanted to buy a rabbit to raise, but my mother said we couldn’t raise one at home, so she finally bought me a stuffed bunny.

The stuffed bunny is very cute. Its head is bigger than its body and is white. There is a pair of long small ears on the big head, and the middle part of one ear is green. The middle part of the other ear is red, and there is a pink bow on the head. Not to mention how cute it looks. A pair of bright big eyes shine like two black gems, and the small nose is a colorful oval, like a small jelly bean, which makes people want to eat it.

Immediately behind the head is a small green body with a small white tail. Of course, there are also four fluffy little feet. The overall look is a big head and a small body. It feels pleasant to the touch because it is stuffed with cotton. I put the stuffed bunny on the desk. Whenever I do my homework, it will look at me motionless, as if saying to me: Little master, you must be serious about your homework, don't be careless, finish your homework quickly. I play along.

As a result, I wrote my homework quickly and well. When I go to bed at night, I will hold it in my arms. With it by my side, I feel warm and no longer afraid, and I will soon fall asleep.

Until now, the stuffed bunny has been accompanying me through the spring, summer, autumn and winter, and has become an indispensable close friend in my childhood life. A 500-word composition introducing an object (5) Candle What is a candle? A candle is a small grain of sand in people's lives, and a candle is an ordinary but great power.

Candles burn in times of darkness and in times of light.

6. Composition: A touching story (written around an object)

The thick green grass is a gift from the earth to mankind, the dewdrops in the morning sun are a gift from the sky to the grass, and mother’s ring It was a gift of love from her father. There were so many gifts.

You will receive different gifts at different times in your life. Have you ever counted the gifts you have received in your life?

A toy car given by my father when I was a child is my eternal memory of my childhood. A book given by my mother when I was a teenager is my eternal memory of my youth. A book given by my classmates when I was young. Cards are my lasting memories of my youth... I miss my father's love, my mother's love in my memory, and my friendship...

The gifts are not just them, but more of them——

Perhaps when I started learning to walk, I remembered that the road must have given me a gift - "stand up".

My loving father took me to the house at that time. I went outside to feel the mysterious nature. I blinked my eyes in confusion. An athlete seemed to be training, but he fell. It was very serious in my memory, but he still chose to stand up and continue running until the end of the game. This training. It was this rugged road that taught me how to stand before I could walk.

Perhaps when I first went to school, I remember that the heavy rain must have given me a gift - "persistence" ”.

I went to school and stayed with my neighbor’s children every day. Until one day, it rained heavily. I was so tired that I didn’t want to walk for more than ten minutes under the heavy rain, so I leaned against the door and counted. There were countless rain curtains. He still walked towards the school with an umbrella. This kind of scene appeared in front of me again and again, and I finally faced it. It was this heavy rain that made me know to keep walking. Persistence.

Maybe when I was in junior high school, I remember that the poplar tree must have given me a gift - straight.

I already knew a lot at that time , looking at the poplar trees growing straight, let me understand that a person needs to be upright.

Gifts, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... I can’t count them all. A friend gave them to me I will cherish the gifts given by my parents, I will collect the gifts given by my parents, and I will keep and use the gifts given by nature forever.

Because they - gifts, have given me countless gifts. Less memory and success. 7. A 500-word essay introducing an item

I like my pencil case very much because my mother bought it for me on my birthday.

A delicate purple cloth bag is embedded with a lavender rose, as if it will spit out fragrance at any time. There is a cute Minnie next to the flower, which is smiling and waving to me! Every time I see it, this picture always appears in front of my eyes: Minnie walks into a big garden, where all kinds of flowers are blooming, including peonies, clivias, roses, and even lotus flowers in the water. Silt yet unstained, it is extremely beautiful.

Minnie slowly hummed a song involuntarily, walked straight to a budding purple rose, gently put her nose up to absorb its fragrance, which made me envious She gets up. In fact, it helped me a lot! One time, the teacher assigned a composition, and I was thinking hard and couldn't find the material. I was as anxious as an ant on a hot pot - running around in circles.

Just when I was discouraged and wanted to give up, I looked up and saw my pencil case. The rose seemed to be a tranquilizer. When I saw it, my restless heart suddenly calmed down. , at this time, I had already relaxed my brows, started imagining gracefully, successfully completed the composition, and received praise from the teacher. My pencil case is not only beautiful and enables me to study hard, it is also very practical.

It is divided into two parts. A large pocket contains pencils, rulers, erasers, knives and colored pens. A small pocket contains my two favorite pens. They are all my good partners. . Look, this is my pencil case, I love it very much! The composition column of the Study Abroad website brings you the most authoritative and most diverse unit compositions. I hope you will like it.

8. If you are given a chance to invent something, write a 300-word essay on its characteristics.

I am a very curious boy, and I will inquire deeply about anything. I still have many little inventions! Among them, I am proud of the "magnet transmitter" and the "north-south locator".

I really like to play the game of steel ball launching. Use one steel ball to touch two other adjacent steel balls. The middle steel ball will not move, and the frontmost steel ball will be ejected. However, because the direction of the steel ball thrown by hand is different every time, the launch is not accurate enough.

Once, when I was sorting out toys, a magnetic ball and a steel ball were attracted together. To make it easier to hold next time, I attracted another magnetic ball to this magnetic ball. At this time, the steel ball "ran away". "It's strange, do steel balls have legs?" Then my curiosity welled up from the bottom of my heart. I repeatedly tried to use magnetic balls to collide and launch, and found that the small steel balls collided in this way are more accurate than pure steel balls. It turns out that this is because the direction of the two magnetic balls is always constant when they collide and attract each other, so the direction in which the steel ball pops up after being stressed is more accurate! I call it the "magnet launcher".

The compass is a directional locator made of magnetite and the earth's magnetic field. I thought: If I could make a compass, I wouldn’t have to spend money to buy one! "Yes! It's a ring magnet. As long as you stand it up, the south pole points to the north and the north pole points to the south." So, I found my magnet, determined the north and south poles at home, and made "N" and "S" " mark, a simple "North-South Locator" is ready! With it, I can easily tell the difference between north and south.

How about it, do you like my little invention? Copernicus once said: "Man's bounden duty is to have the courage to explore the truth." The mysteries of nature are endless. As long as we pay attention and think carefully, we will definitely discover it! 9. Composition introduce an item

Cucumber

Usually, my favorite vegetable is cucumber.

In class, I learned a little bit about cucumbers. It turns out that cucumbers are produced in India. You must be wondering, why did it spread to China? This is because an Indian businessman brought cucumbers to Xinjiang, China. As a result, cucumber spread to China. Cucumber is composed of skin, flesh, seeds and flowers. The rind is dark green, the flesh is light green, and the seeds are white. Tweed is yellow. My favorite thing about cucumbers is their shape. It has various shapes, how fun it is! When the cucumber has not been cut, it looks like a curved moon, a pen in my hand, a curved knife, a sickle... When it is cut across, it looks like a biscuit, like the fifteenth moon, like a button, or a pair of eyes. When it is cut vertically, it looks like a boat, a tree, an air conditioner, etc. Cucumber flowers are very special! Its flowers are like trumpets, morning glory, and sunflowers. Wow! It has various shapes. Don’t you think its shape is beautiful? You know that a cucumber is a still life, but you may not know that it can also make sounds. It can make a loud sound when you cut it with a knife. Its scent is a light scent, fragrant and nice.

I don’t particularly like the taste of it, nor do I particularly hate the taste of it. I don't like it because the skin is so bitter and astringent. What I like about it is that its meat is cool and has a lot of water, which can supplement vitamin C. The outside feels prickly. But it’s slippery inside!

It also has many functions. It can be used for beauty, it can be used to quench thirst, it can be used to make salads...

How delicious cucumbers are!
