After two years, I finally transformed my "little brother" into a more perfect image in my mind, so I decided to share my modification experience with everyone. Not talking about experience, just recording my journey. At the beginning of 2018, after a strong ideological struggle, I finally decided to sell the first car that stayed with me, an imported Audi A3, to realize the dream car that I had started planting a few years ago - the AMG A45. Since the first car entered the modification pit, almost all the detours were taken, so all the modifications on this A45 were very purposeful and targeted. Let me share my 45 "S" from two aspects (appearance/power) [heehee] I am a black person, and I will definitely buy black for everything (clothes, pants, shoes) as long as it is available in black. The car is no exception. My appearance concept is "black, original style" and uses minimal color matching to make the whole car more simple.

Central grille/LOGO

I kept the original car grille and did not change it to a waterfall style grille because the original car gave me a more sporty feel. There are actually many choices for the LOGO. In the end, I chose the mirror model, with a black circle and a bright trident, so that it would not be black when paired with it, and the details could be highlighted.

Wheels | BBS FS

The original cast wheel style is very suitable for the A45, but the data is not perfect. After looking at various cases, I chose the style closest to the original wheel hub. 19-inch BBS FS. The data of 8.5J ET42 (original 8J ET48) can make the front and rear wheels perfectly aligned. The weight of about 9kg not only ensures a beautiful appearance, but also takes into account certain performance

Brake | Bright black and white AMG LOGO

The A45 original brakes perform very well in daily driving. I am A guy who doesn't get off the track, so replacing the brakes was not necessary for me. Because BBS's black gold cover was replaced, the large area of ??the original red calipers looked a bit incongruous when paired with gold, so Boss Kang from Top Clean later spray-painted the calipers bright black.

Shock absorbers | KW V3

I have been driving the original shock absorbers for a year to fully feel them. The original shock absorbers are actually very supportive, except for bumps. The road section with 35 aspect ratio tires seems a bit too hard. After the V3 is put on the car and debugged, the current height is one finger in the front and half finger in the back. The softness and hardness of the front and rear wheels are currently both medium to soft. The front wheel is obviously much more comfortable than the original one, and the rear wheel is still being tried.

Cover | 507 carbon fiber cover changed to glossy black

The cover of 507 has always been my favorite style. In addition to the two powerful ridges on the cover, it is better for heat dissipation. The hole is located just above the turbine, which can help dissipate some heat from the turbine.

Tires | MICHILIN PS4S

After using the original Dunlop SPORT MAXX for 2 years and 40,000 kilometers, the biggest driving experience after replacing the PS4S is that the tire noise is significantly reduced and it is comfortable The degree is improved by at least two levels. PS4S performed very well in all evaluations, and the sidewalls are straighter than the original ones, and the visual effect is more beautiful. When changing to Michelin tires, you can bind four tires through the WeChat official account, and the warranty is still in place.

Turbine Meter | DEFI

My friend was in Japan and was about to return to China, so he helped me bring back a 3bar turbine meter. The A1 series requires a controller before it can be used. The turbine pressure after programming is 2.6 bar, and the 3.0 gauge is just right.

Steering wheel | suede carbon fiber

The original full suede steering wheel is too easy to get dirty, but carbon fiber is hot to the touch in the summer and cold to the hands in the winter, so everyone should be cautious before changing it.

I replaced it with Autotecknic's large carbon fiber paddle, which feels much better than the original small paddle.

Original tire pressure monitor

The original A45 only has a tire pressure alarm and no specific value. . I have developed a good habit since playing with aerodynamics on my last car. I always pay attention to the tire pressure. Tire pressure is very important for safety in daily driving. I can see tire problems in time to avoid traffic accidents due to tire problems.

Stickers

I am used to putting stickers of all brands that I should buy on the back seat. I will only put stickers related to the car to keep the outside of the car as clean and tidy as possible.

Program | T&P EVOLUTION

For me, stability is more important than anything else. I have never measured various data. To me, the third stage provides more power reserve in the middle and rear stages. Horsepower and torque are just numbers. What matters is whether it drives smoothly or not.

Exhaust head section | FDE through-through head section

Because the head section chooses through-through, I directly received second-hand FDE from riders, and agreed with friends at the modification shop that I would buy it myself. Try your hand at the installation. What happened was that because the place was crowded, I accidentally scratched the water tank. Special thanks to Brother Bin for taking me everywhere to find a place to repair the water tank. Because of my fault, he worked overtime with me until dark. After the FDE front section is on the car, the noise is obviously much louder than before, and it is even more obvious in S mode.

Air intake | AMS

The air intake of AMS is divided into air intake mushroom head and air intake air box. I directly chose to use the original air box and only replaced the mushroom head. This is cost-effective.
