How are PPT masters tempered

There is one thing that I know better than anyone. I am not a PPT god, master or even a master. A lot of young people are above me in designing typesetting and color matching skills. I am just the person who happens to be the most comprehensive in promotion skills, business understanding, story telling, copy refining, title finishing touch, logical series, typesetting methods, color matching rules, and skill application. Well, it's like the college entrance examination, which compares the total score, not the first place in a single item.

actually, in 28, my PPT was still like this (see the picture below), and I have been doing PPT for 1 years. A person's working ability and working hours are not necessarily positively related. I have deeply discovered this from PPT.

I felt very good after I finished it, so I shared it online, because every sentence and word in this PPT was conceived and planned by myself, and I found every picture. Later, after I was called a PPT expert, I silently deleted this sharing from the Internet.

This is the first sign of success: delete your unsuccessful history. Now, of course, I hope it will be worse, because the lower a person's starting point is, the higher his later achievements will be, the more people will admire him.

My level can be improved by leaps and bounds. First of all, I have to thank the leader of our school, because he stopped my class for nine days, and waited for the leader's latest copy every day, and then changed PPT. Very often, you can't do anything, because there is no material to submit, and sometimes you just wait for a long time.

Although it was closed for nine days, from 8 am to 1 pm every day, sometimes I have to catch PPT when I go back. In fact, I don't get extra pay. Everyone works overtime for the development of the school. Ordinary people will be very depressed when they encounter such a thing, but I think, since I can't escape the fate of making PPT, I will try my best to make myself a real PPT master through this PPT. So I used the waiting time to download the template, grope for the menu of the software, and look at it one by one to see what effect can be used by me.

in the past nine days, my basic skills of PPT operation have made great progress, but at that time, my greatest progress may be that I found that there is another template in the world called TG Company, and the PPT I tried my best to achieve at the end of December 28 is like this (see the figure below).

This is probably a difference between me and ordinary people: once I realize that I have to do some unavoidable work, I will immediately find diversified goals for this work, so that these wasted time, which was originally a waste of my life, becomes a very important accumulation.

It's just that I didn't realize at that time that this accumulation had such a huge impact on my future life that it really changed the trajectory of my life.

In January 29, I received a phone call from Mr. Liu Jun, a teacher from Shanghai @ Zhuoyi, asking if I could speak PPT. He invited me to speak PPT not because he had seen my work, but because he saw a book entitled "Technology Demonstration Strategy" published by me very early. He thought that some of my ideas about demonstration were very good, and if they were extended to the PPT training market, they would just fill the gap in the current training field, which emphasized skills over ideas. At that time, because I made a successful PPT bid, I felt that PPT was just so much, and I readily promised, not to mention that he offered me a sky-high price that I couldn't refuse at that time, and I could get 5, yuan after-tax income for a six-hour course a day, and the round-trip accommodation and travel were all-inclusive.

in order to earn 5 yuan a day, I earned two months' salary at school at that time, and I fought for it. Next, I found that making a PPT is completely different from teaching others to do PPT. The biggest challenge for a lecturer is curriculum development, and I am just a self-righteous "PPT pseudo-master". This task is too difficult for me.

To be realistic, if I look at my preparing lessons at home in January, 29 at the present level, it's really easy for me to sell my soul for a little petty profit. I really regret that I want to refuse, but I can't miss such an opportunity with 5, yuan.

For me, the easiest way is to copy. I downloaded all the PPT tutorials I could find, and then reorganized them with my own understanding. And I am very lucky. My first customer was China Telecom, and my wife happened to be from China Telecom. She contacted many internal PPT, and she helped me find hundreds of PPT with good internal evaluation. I summarized them and shared them as cases. My logic is very simple. I can't make it clear, so I will bomb you with cases!

I thought at that time, as long as I gave my customers this understanding: Look, you can't do PPT well, others do it! As long as I give them enough good cases, they will recognize me. If it's a big deal, I will earn this 5 yuan and wash my hands of it. This is probably the second difference between me and ordinary people: when I realize that the traditional route doesn't work, I will immediately seek new ways to achieve my goal, instead of being limited to achieving my goal in a certain way.

At that time, I was seriously lacking in confidence, so I introduced myself like this (below), and I wanted to take out every insignificant achievement of myself to press the lineup.

actually, the typography is pretty ugly, isn't it? But I tried my best at that time.

I felt that my skills were insufficient. I went home and immediately read all the blogs of the experts from beginning to end. I read every article, and I felt that the good articles were immediately imitated. This may be another difference between me and ordinary people: my learning method is very simple, not seeking quick secrets, but imitating all the successful experiences shared by others. For one week, I watched and did PPT for more than 1 hours every day.

Another difference is that I am never satisfied with thinking bit by bit. I like to think in a whole framework from the beginning, so I systematized my own experience, turned it into a sharing PPT "How to Become a PPT Master" and put it on the Internet.

At that time, I was deeply influenced by Sun Xiaoxiao, and thought that the full-picture PPT was too cool, so basically this PPT was designed to imitate the full-picture style and highlight the visual effect. I didn't expect this 2-page PPT shared in March 29 to cause crazy downloads on the Internet. The cumulative downloads in various places should have exceeded 2 million.

I divided my work into two versions at the beginning. If you want the next version, you must forward my article to another forum, then give me the address and I will give you all the source files.

It worked. Guess how many people reprinted it in the end? It's more than 3! That is to say, one of my sharing blogs was reprinted by netizens to more than 2, forums (some of them were repeated), and this work was spread all of a sudden, so I was known by many people and began to be put on the aura of PPT talent. At that time, I was still young.

I believe many people are very, very familiar with the cover below. Until today, some people have asked me for this PPT.

As an author and senior editor who has published three books, we all know that it is not difficult to make a bestseller, but it is difficult to make a bestseller brand. We all want to make a brand, not a bestseller.

The easiest way to build a book brand is: 1. A resounding trademark; 2. A series of books; 3. Constantly upgrading and revising.

Most people are satisfied with doing a beautiful job, but to become professionals, they must have the awareness of brand building. When we wrote Persuasion-Make Your PPT Speak, we have systematically planned the following writing focuses. Our determination is to build a brand, not to write a bestseller.

So many people ask me if the book I wrote later is the same as the one I wrote before, and the answer is not repeated, because there is a positioning distinction from the beginning, and I consciously left room for the future and the complementarity of training courses when I wrote.

So while Persuasion-Making Your PPT Talk is still selling well, we have already started to prepare Persuasion-What a Working PPT Should Do. The benefits of publishing Persuasion-Making Your PPT Talk have also given us a lot of feedback, which can help us improve our books better. Of course, some of these feedbacks will be over if you believe them, but some of them are very reasonable. We should find ways to realize them in the new book.

you will notice that I always set aside some time to work for the future, not just for the present. This is the foresight needed in time management.

I have more and more fans, and I began to consciously encourage them to contribute. At first, the platform was my independent blog, then Weibo, and now, of course, WeChat.

in the process of revising their submissions, it was also a process for me to absorb different inspirations. I cooperated with the best of these people, and we joined forces to make many works that were widely circulated on the Internet (as shown below)

This list is my 14 most influential works in the last four years, and the cumulative forwarding has exceeded 1,, of which 6 were with friends. I am very grateful to Wu Xiaoming and Cao Jiang PPTao who have worked with me. I hope.

Of course, there are only two related companies in Weibo, because many of them were stolen. Someone asked me how to deal with plagiarists, and my answer was: with a steady stream of originality, everyone will know who the real sharer is.

Of course, I also want to thank these plagiarists. In a sense, it is precisely because they failed my attempts to break out again and again. On the contrary, they forced me to keep innovating and creating, and the accumulated influence actually far exceeded an outbreak.

This is also my growth philosophy: after finding the direction, persistence is more important than the so-called good method.

over the past four years or so, I have published more than 15 PPT works, large and small. You will find that I am pursuing innovation and change from creativity, copywriting and design, and try not to repeat myself.

I slowly organized the internet lovers like me and established a QQ group. We created together and planned and promoted together. Everyone had fun and made many new friends. In the process of my training and writing books, they provided me with a lot of inspiration. Thank you again, so I won't name them one by one. In fact, a person's success needs a small environment, and there is a lack of people who can do PPT around me, so I created such an environment for myself, and you can walk with your companions.

This is the reason why many people can't persist, lacking the spur of a group of peers. Some people say that there is a lack of companions around me. In the internet age, it is not difficult for you to find the same kind. The difficulty is that you didn't come up with a work to prove that you are the same kind. So many people want to join my group, and I refused. My request is simple: if you can't prove that you are determined to be a good PPT, you shouldn't come in to be a hand-holding party. To join the group, take the works as tickets. So this group is invited, so don't search this group and try to join.

Of course, I have observed the learning thinking of many novices, and found that not only PPT, but all of them have the same thinking, trying to get a complete method, and then they can get started quickly, and then they can get the job done, which is almost good.

But all learning must have a framework first, but there must also be a lot of detailed exercises to make you understand the framework freely, and there must be a guide, but there must also be a complete implementation of the guide instead of almost the same.

At first, I really didn't know why it was so difficult for so many people to learn PPT. I thought it was actually quite easy. I found that the real reason might be:

1. PPT combines the knowledge of logical conception, typesetting design and marketing speech psychology, so it is difficult for ordinary people to understand so much knowledge at once, so they have to choose to copy the template under time pressure.

2. The biggest trouble for ordinary people to do PPT is often not the lack of templates, but that they have a good idea, but because they can't find the material and don't know how to deal with it effectively, they finally find that their ideas are ugly, so they give up the desire to continue trying. The online templates look beautiful, but they all use a lot of design details, such as color, shape, font, layout and animation. Ordinary people don't have the ability to disassemble and learn one by one, so they have to swallow them all, and they can't become PPT masters after doing so for a hundred years.

So I began to realize that before teaching a person to express his speech intention with logical ideas, it is best to solve his technical bottleneck. This idea has completed my book "Learning PPT with Autumn Leaves".
