Characteristics of blue carbon:
1. raw materials: charcoal is generally produced with a single coal type, and coal blending is not required in the production process.
2. Quality: Compared with coke products in the general sense, blue carbon has the advantages of high fixed carbon, high specific resistance, high chemical activity, low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus and low moisture, but at the same time, the strength and crushing resistance of blue carbon are poor.
3. Usage: Generally, coke products are mostly used in metallurgical industries such as blast furnace ironmaking and casting, but due to relatively poor strength and crushing resistance, blue charcoal can not be used in blast furnace production. However, in ferroalloy, calcium carbide, chemical fertilizer and other industries, blue carbon can completely replace ordinary coke, and its quality is better than that of national metallurgical coke;
Foundry coke, special coke for ferroalloy and other standards, so blue carbon has high application value in improving the quality grade of downstream products, saving energy and reducing consumption, reducing production costs and increasing output. At the same time, it also has development potential in blast furnace injection, carbonized material production, activated carbon and other fields.
4. Process: The production of blue carbon is mainly dry distillation at low temperature, and the dry distillation temperature is generally around 600℃. Due to the late start, the annual output of blue carbon low-temperature carbonization furnace equipment is mostly around 30,000 tons/year. The Forum low-temperature carbonization furnace equipment with a scale of over 50,000 tons/year is still in the stage of exploration and test, and the technology of large-scale equipment is not mature, so it can only adopt the combined technology of one furnace and multiple doors to realize centralized large-scale production.
