For a long time, Zhu has maintained a good family tree cultural tradition in our association. This paper introduces it according to the genealogical data of eight revisions.
First, the genealogy is constantly compiled.
At the meeting, Zhu's genealogy was first compiled in the Mid-Autumn Festival in the eighth year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty, that is, 1580, and it was renewed eight times in the 24th year of Guangxu (1898), with an average of 45.43 times in 3 18 years. The longest interval between five and six repairs is 67 years, and the shortest interval between seven and eight repairs is 34 years, which fully conforms to the traditional law of "30 years of minor repairs and 60 years of major repairs" in China. After 1898, our ancestors also had the activity of continuing genealogy. In the genealogy of Da Zi Zi (numbered by thousands of words), we saw a draft handwritten with a brush, in which the date of birth was recorded as "the year of the Republic of China". This shows that before the founding of the People's Republic of China in New China, the clansmen had activities to update their genealogy. Some people say that during the Anti-Japanese War, I heard from my predecessors about the revision of music score, or it may be that the Japanese invasion made the music score continue fruitless. This time is exactly 30 to 40 years from the eight genealogies.
Second, the genealogical order has high academic value.
Zhu's Eight Meetings has a total of 10 prefaces, of which six and seven are two prefaces. Among them, eight prefaces were edited, read and given lectures by Jinshi and Hanlin Academy. They all had profound academic lipogenesis and theoretical accomplishment, and each represented a higher academic theoretical level at that time. Among them, Zhao Zhi Heng, the President of the Imperial Palace, conferred the titles of Shangshu and Official History of the Imperial Palace on the Prince Taibao, and he was a scholar and doctor. Some of them were awarded the title of scholar born in the palace, taking Scholar's Academy as a bachelor's degree and a third-class scholar's book. The president of Xiao Jing will try Zuo Chunfang's right letter, as well as the hereditary Scholar's Academy's five classics and 18 generations of Sun Queli Wengong (Zhu). The order of these superior people shows to some extent that our Zhu family is indeed a wealthy family.
Third, genealogy is a family encyclopedia.
I understood the characteristics of Zhu Jiapu: First, it is true. No matter the origin, the general department or the records of all kinds of personnel, they are so practical that they are neither arrogant nor impetuous, nor discarded. This improved the academic value of this genealogy. The second is all. In other words, the genealogy system is scientific and complete. She includes the general volume, sub-volumes, biographies of celebrities in various periods, important materials, important activities for benefiting the people and various contract volumes. The third is to live. Genealogy is a humanized record of people, people with different experiences, and reflects everyone's basic situation as clearly as possible. For example, biographies of celebrities, influential figures other than biographies, add praise after their names, truthfully load them into the county or Confucian scholars born in the county, and add three or five words of praise, so that there are thousands of people and all kinds of figures are lifelike.
