Since then, Junlebao has become a subsidiary of Sanlu to produce liquid milk, and it has been renamed as Shijiazhuang Sanlu Dairy Co., Ltd. by Shijiazhuang Junlebao Dairy Co., Ltd., and the yogurt packaging bag produced in Junlebao has also been branded as "Sanlu".

In August 2008, a melamine incident broke out in China, and Sanlu Group's milk powder was found to contain a large amount of melamine.

In February 2009, Sanlu Group went bankrupt and its assets were auctioned. Sanyuan Group, which had no melamine record before, won the main assets of Sanlu at a price of 6160,000 yuan. After the closure of Sanlu, Shijiazhuang Sanlu Dairy Co., Ltd. changed its name back to Junlebao Dairy Co., Ltd. in order to draw a clear line with Sanlu quickly.
