The evolution of village history Shilin village is a village with Shen's single blood relationship, so there is a saying that "one village, one surname and one heart". According to records, Ji Ran, the tenth son of Zhou Wenwang, was sealed in Shen and was the ancestor of Shen Shi. His 45th ancestor moved to Lingzhi at the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty. He was the ancestor of Shen Shi of Lingzhi, and the ancestor was Tai Long Gong. It has a history of more than 650 years. Persimmon forest, once known as Shilin because of its abundant talents, and Lexus because of the confrontation between the two ridges, is now known as Persimmon Forest because of its abundant persimmons. Shilin Village is also known as "Danshan Chishui". As early as the Eastern Han Dynasty, many Taoist celebrities came here to live in seclusion and cultivate themselves, and were honored by Taoism as nine of the thirty-six caves. Song Huizong once wrote a book "Danshan Chishui Cave". Many famous scholars have come here to express their feelings and left many beautiful poems. Li Bai, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, once wrote the poem "Four bright days, three thousand miles, towards the red city and the rosy clouds", and the poet in the Ming Dynasty once wrote the poem "Chishui Fairy House, Danshan Mountain, socks and green shoes make a victorious tour". Shen Tailong, the founder of Shilin Village, once praised Shilin: "The cave is blessed with a wonderful land and does not pollute the world at all. It is suitable for Shixiang people to live here, and only white clouds float from the ridge.

Industrial Economy Shilin Village belongs to forest economy. Persimmons, tea, bamboo shoots and flowers are the main economic sources of villagers. Among them, the planting area of "Diaohong" persimmon is more than 200 mu, with an annual output of more than 200,000 Jin and an output value of more than 500,000 yuan. Tea 1200 mu, annual output of dry tea 120 tons, output value of more than 300,000 yuan. Especially in recent years, with the care and support of the higher party committee and government, Shilin Village has developed tourism economy according to local conditions. In 2002, according to the idea of tourism development, we successfully developed the "Danshan Chishui" scenic spot, actively promoted the adjustment of industrial structure, encouraged villagers to set up "farmhouse music", and made them embark on the road of changing their majors and increasing their income. At present, there are 29 farmhouse hotels and 9 farmhouse hotels in Shilin Village. Through "strict management, quality control, optimized service and increased income", the resources of red culture and local customs have been fully tapped. Now, large-scale cultural activities such as "Danshan Chishui Persimmon Festival", "Siming Mountain Red Tourism Opening Ceremony" and "Yuyao Film Festival" have been successfully held and hosted, which not only enriched the spiritual and civilized life of villagers, but also improved the popularity of Danshan Chishui Scenic Area.
