1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic data structure and classification codes of the National Women of Childbearing Age Information System (WIS).
This standard applies to the establishment of the National Women of Childbearing Age Information System (WIS) at all levels and the management and services of national population and family planning. It also applies to relevant departments and related fields, and can be used as a basis for population and family planning. The basis for information exchange between the family planning information system and the social public service system.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1 Women of reproductive age
Refers to women between 15 and 49 years old.
4 Data structure
4.1 Data structure content
4.1.1 Data item type: character type is represented by "C"; date type is represented by "D" .
4.1.2 Data item length: In bytes, the length of the data item during information exchange shall prevail. For example, the length of the data item for the name of a woman of childbearing age is 30 bytes.
4.1.3 Data item code: The code is represented by three digits. The first level uses one digit to represent the data item category, and the second level uses two digits to represent the name of the data item in each category.

5 Classification Codes
5.1 Principles and Methods of Classification Code Compilation
5.1.1 According to the needs of family planning and reproductive health services and management in my country, it basically covers relevant aspects in this field.
5.1.2 Give priority to existing national standards.
5.1.3 Classification adopts line classification method.
5.1.4 The code type adopts numeric type, mixed numeric and alphabetic hierarchical code and sequential code.
5.1.5 When necessary, set "Other" as the containment category in the same level category, and the code is usually "9".
